Miljø er et strategisk kjerneområde for LLOF, og miljøspørsmål er derfor noe vi har jobbet med helt fra starten av.

Ved siden av å være et gjennomtenkt og effektivt industriområde vil miljøkravene stå i forgrunnen når anlegget ved Lutelandet utvikles. Målet er at både samfunnet og oppdragsgivere skal kunne være trygge på at miljøgifter tas hånd om på en forsvarlig måte, og at anlegget for øvrig skal være en trygg og god arbeidsplass.

Området på Lutelandet var urørt da utbyggingen av industriområdet startet i 2009. Fordi det finnes kulturminner i naturen på øya, gjøres utbyggingen av industri selvsagt med hensyn til dette. I LLOF mener vi at vi kun vil oppnå suksess med selskapet dersom vi har fokus på miljøet, kombinert med en

åpen og informativ holdning overfor lokalsamfunnet. Miljø er essensielt. For å nå våre mål, er noe av det viktigste LLOF kan gjøre å utvikle en bedriftskultur hvor normer og verdier knyttet til miljøet er fullt integrert i alle beslutningsprosesser og ledelsessystemer. En godt forankret HMS filosofi er derfor selvsagt for LLOF.

Environmental care is a core strategic area for LLOF, and is thus something we have been working on from the beginning.

Besides being a carefully planned industry area, environmental demands come to the front when the facility at Lutelandet is being developed. The goal is that both community and commissioning parties can trust that environmental poison is taken care of in a proper way, and for the rest that the facility will be a safe and good workplace. The Lutelandet area was untouched when the development of an industrial site started in 2009. Since there are cultural monuments present in the nature at Lutelandet, the development of industry in the area of course takes these aspects into consideration. In LLOF,

we hold the opinion that success for the company is only achievable through keeping an environmental focus, combined with an open and informative attitude towards the local community.

Environmental care is essential. To reach company goals, one of the most important efforts for LLOF is to develop a corporate culture where norms and values concerning the environmental aspect are fully integrated into all decision making processes and management systems. Thus, a well anchored HSE philosophy is obvious for LLOF.
